Homeschool

The general push towards homeschool and other forms of non-public schooling in recent times has led many scholars to push for a change in the public school system, making it more flexible and customizeable to each student. Opposition to this idea fears that such customization will destroy the common experience of education which holds communities together.

However, proponents say that public schools are hardly an example of a common experience nowadays. Several plans have been put forth and discussed to diversify teaching methods in schools, under the argument that one method does not work for all.
